A fabulous weekend

I spent the weekend in mostly vanilla mode, although it was book-ended by two terrific sessions, one topping and one bottoming. I finished the second session this afternoon (perhaps more to come on that later) and you can read about the first session on my alter ego’s blog, Sandy’s Room.

Saturday my older sister was in town, and we spent almost the whole day in the city, exploring, walking, doing touristy things and indulging our inner boys and girls.
We went to Bryant Park (shopped, watched the skaters; Rockefeller Center (crazy, scary mobs of people); St. Patrick’s Cathedral (where the creche features a camel that looks like Joe Camel); Central Park (walked all over and rode the carousel); and to cap off the day, went to the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City.

Believe it or not, in spite of my exhaustion, I was up at 7 this morning, ready to go. Yeah, I do think I need to get to bed early tonight.

42nd Street? Only thing I can think of is Grand Central Terminal (and I’m not 100% sure that’s on 42nd!)….
