Pete, I often take them down myself, but sometimes I order the bad boy to do it. If you haven’t been THAT bad, I start over pants, then on shorts, then bare bottom. Some bad boys don’t get the luxury of such a warm-up.

As a writer myself, I have given a lot of thought to the sound of a spank. A strap makes a popping noise as it hits the bare bottom that to me is rather like, “PRAP!” If less air is captured between the strap and the behind it is more like “PWAP!” I know these are not good words as they seem silly, but it is the combination of the explosion of air along with the spanking sound of stiff leather landing on softer skin. Hands and other leather implements have a more high pitched ring to the delivery that often echoes in the room. That’s a big part of the appeal of the sound as the spanks are delivered faster and faster over the whimpering and ouching of the spankee.
